Shopify theme migration

A new theme. The essential workflows carried forward.

Move a mature storefront from Trademark to Ceramide while rebuilding the custom account, evaluation, pre-order, and school-purchasing paths around the new theme.

My contribution

My work: theme migration, account integration, and custom purchasing workflows. A colleague contributed some theme edits; leadership selected the licensed theme.

The Classical Academic Press, School Beautiful, Scholé Academy, and MyLibrary work shown here was completed in my role as an employee of Classical Academic Press, separately from engagements through Endicott Digital Systems LLC.

More than a visual refresh.

The existing theme contained years of custom behavior. The migration had to account for account routing and Auth0, MyLibrary access, evaluations, product samples, pre-order rules, school purchasing, cart attributes, returns, and custom landing pages.

I migrated the storefront to the licensed Ceramide theme selected by leadership and rebuilt custom workflows around its architecture. Modern customer accounts and the School Accounts experience were part of that work; a colleague contributed some theme edits.

About the migration evidence

The January–June Git history contains 650 reachable commits, including Shopify syncs and merged history. That is a record of the migration’s scope, not a count of 650 independently authored tasks. The later screenshots show the storefront as captured; commit history alone does not establish the live publication date or a measured business result.

WHAT CHANGED

Updated storefront discovery and a dedicated purchasing experience for schools.

Annotated screenshots captured September 29, 2026, except the dated archive images. Live sites may change.
